The cover of the next Doctor Who Free Comic Book Day title was revealed by Titan Comics, and it shows The Fugitive Doctor, as portrayed by Joe Martin. Placed somewhere in the Doctor’s timeline before The First Doctor, she worked for the Time Lord black ops group division on behalf of Gallifrey until she attempted to abdicate her responsibilities. Unwilling to play his part in the Division’s plans any longer, the Doctor escaped from Gat, his superior officer, and hid on Earth using an Ark Chameleon, assuming a human identity as Ruth Clayton.

This version of the character hasn’t appeared in the comics yet, although we recently saw the Tenth meet the Thirteenth in Episode Blink, and Doctor Donna settles down with Rose Tyler and has a child, while the Bad Wolf Rose continues a rampage, with the Eleventh, Eighth, and Thirteenth Doctors. So right now everything is up for grabs. The new Doctor WHO comic storyline will begin in May, following the Free Comic Book Day prelude on May 7, 2022. Jody Houser tweeted “Well I guess it’s out to the world now! Fun stuff coming this spring for #DoctorWho fans, starting with @Freecomicbook”. Indeed… and from the description, there could be quite a few more doctors involved.
