Rapper Fetty Wap had another argument with the cops. He was arrested at Newark Airport on Friday after his ankle monitor turned off as he passed airport security. The police were notified and immediately arrested him on the spot.

According to TMZ, the police exploited his information and discovered that there was an arrest warrant against him. Apparently he was wanted after causing public unrest in North Bergen, New Jersey.

For the moment, Fetty Wap has been booked and is being held in prison. However, according to TMZ, he is expected to be released on bail shortly.

If you didn’t know, Fetty Wap is from New Jersey. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey.

He’s had a lot of trouble this year. Her 4-year-old daughter died in June of “a fatal cardiac arrhythmia due to complications from congenital heart defects,” according to TMZ. He was also arrested just a few months ago for being involved in a massive drug ring in Long Island, New York and New Jersey. He had helped distribute cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and crack in both states.

His ankle monitor is likely related to the drug-related incident and if so, he should not be allowed to leave the state of New Jersey. If he was at an airport, it is possible that he attempted to leave the state.
