Of all the things you know about comedian Kathy Griffin, you might have missed the fact that she dated director Quentin Tarantino. Additionally, she briefly appeared in her iconic 1994 detective comedy. pulp Fiction. Here’s how the actress ended up in the movie and what she thinks of Tarantino now.
In a memorable scene from pulp Fiction, Ving Rhames (who plays Marsellus Wallace) blinks after being hit by a car. In the mist, he sees a small crowd of women watching him. Among them is Kathy Griffin, credited as herself in the film.

And it’s the sum of the prolific actor’s three lines in the gloriously bloody black comedy that is pulp Fiction.
In a 2019 interview on the BUILD series, Griffin revealed that she thought the experience was “amazing.”
“I was dating Quentin Tarantino,” she said. “It was amazing to be on this set. I literally had three lines.
Griffin noted in the interview that fans frequently mention it to him on social media. “Maybe once a month someone will be like ‘uh, I think I saw you in pulp Fiction, “she said.” I’m like yes, with my old nose. It’s my old nose, “she joked.
Kathy Griffin said she still has affection for Quentin Tarantino

“What I like about Quentin is that he’s a rare, rare guy who took a chance on me,” she said. “He put me in an episode of emergency that he led. He put me Four bedrooms. “
Kathy Griffin recently had lung cancer surgery
In August 2021, Griffin revealed that she had undergone surgery for lung cancer, although she had never smoked. She also revealed a former prescription drug addiction following her controversial 2017 photoshoot with a Donald Trump-like mask.
