Snoop Dogg Goes Superhero: Launches Limited Edition “Supercuzz” NFT Comics
Snoop Dogg has revealed that Angel City’s superhero “Supercuzz” is “dedicated to smoking out the forces of evil and eliminating crime!”
Snoop Dogg continues to set the standard in NFT hip-hop by unveiling his new “Supercuzz” comic book series.
The Doggfather plays the titular character who spends his days “smoking out the forces of evil and eliminating crime” in the fictional Angel City. Snoop Dogg will grace five covers of the MakersPlace crypto marketplace comic book series.
Announcing the collection, Snoop Dogg took to social media to share an image of one of the covers on Thursday (March 17). He also gave some details about the character, revealing “Supercuzz” as “a self-made crypto-billionaire.”
“Me & @BossLogic in attendance (with creative direction by @CBroadus & @kai__Henry)…Supercuzz,” he wrote in the Instagram caption. “A next-gen superhero born on the streets of Angel City, who enjoys the high-flying lavish lifestyle as a self-made crypto-billionaire, but is also dedicated to smoking out the forces of evil and eliminating crime !”
Snoop Dogg: “Supercuzz to the rescue”
The collection arrived on Thursday, featuring five limited-edition collectible animations voiced by Snoop, followed by five open-edition stills. Australian graphic artist BossLogic created the original artwork.
“Snoop Dogg and BossLogic are two iconic forces in their respective businesses and are both pioneers in the NFT space,” MakersPlace CEO Craig Palmer said in a statement. “We are honored to host the release of the ‘Supercuzz’ collection on MakersPlace and give art lovers access to purchase NFTs from their favorite makers.”
Meanwhile, earlier in the week, Snoop Dogg celebrated his success, claiming the top 3 spots in the NFT OpenSeas marketplace.
